What credentials do your Therapists hold?
All therapists are Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) in the state of North Carolina with extensive experience in and a special desire to work with the elderly population.

Will I always see the same Therapist?
Yes, unless you and or your Therapist determine it’s not a good fit.

Where are session offered?
We offer session at your residence home or at our office.

What do your services cost?
Our services are generally covered by insurance but we also accept self-pay and have a sliding scale offered as needed on a case by case basis. Please consult your therapist for more information.

What insurances do you accept?
We accept Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC (BCBSNC), and many other major medical insurances.

What are your hours?
We make every effort to base our schedule on your needs and availability.

How do I know I need Therapy?
Counseling is something that everyone may need from time to time to help deal with the challenges of everyday life experience, especially as we age. Even people who have led happy, satisfying lives can become overwhelmed when faced with health issues, loss, and changing circumstances.

How long are sessions and how long will I need them?
Most sessions are 50-60 minutes, except the initial assessment which will take a bit longer.

How many sessions can I have?
Medicare doesn’t limit the number of session per year. This means you meet with your therapist for as long as needed.

What is therapy like?
Therapy generally consists of talking about your concerns confidentially with a professional trained to help you navigate the troubled waters.

Will you meet with my family if I want you to?
Yes.  Our Therapists also have experience working with families.

Will my sessions be confidential?
We will share your information only with written permission from you or if we feel you might be in danger of harming yourself or someone else.

What if I want to call you?
We will return calls within 24 hours.  However for emergencies, you should call 911. 

Do I need a referral from my Doctor or pre-approval?
No. All you need to do is contact us and schedule a confidential session.
