I hope you are enjoying this nice fall weather and weathered all the hurricanes safely! We have 2 big announcements for you this month!
1) We are now able to see clients that are on hospice! We will continue to bill on Part B, but are excited to provide this extra layer of support to clients during this trying time!
2) We are sorry to share that Dr. McArthur is closing her psychiatry practice in April 2019. Between her upcoming maternity leave and other commitments, she has decided to close her practice, with the concern she may no longer have enough time to give her clients the attention they deserve. We wish her all the best, and are sorry to see her go! We will not have a psychiatry team replacing her at this time.
Kicking the Holiday Blues with Silver Linings for Seniors, Inc
Friday, November 9 at 1:00 pm at Kernersville Senior Enrichment Center
Grief during the holiday season is normal and natural. It does not help when others keep telling you to “buck up” and enjoy the festivities. YOUR PAIN IS REAL! Having lost a special person through death or absence is especially traumatic during the holiday season. While other people are celebrating, you are thinking of all the things you might have been doing with your special person. There are ways to find joy in this season in spite of your pain. We will discuss seven tips and techniques: to help deal with grief or loss, and learn how to enjoy the holiday season. This class will be held at the senior center. RSVP required. Please RSVP to 336-992-0591 or respond below.
